EDITORIAL BOARD RECOMMENDED READINGS

The MaizeGDB Editorial Board is charged with the task of recommending noteworthy maize primary literature on a monthly basis. This list highlights research of interest to maize researchers and is appropriate for use in by journal clubs. The inaugural board was convened in January 2005 by Virginia Walbot. Membership for 2006 included: Tom Brutnell, Chief; Surinder Chopra; Karen McGinnis; Wojtek Pawlowski; and Jianming Yu. Marja Timmermans was added to the board by Tom Brutnell in August when he noticed that the selections were heavily genetic in nature, and few papers on developmental biology were being selected. Below is the Editorial Board's recommended reading list.
